About Us

The Model Based Enterprise web site is a collaborative effort to provide you with an overview of what is going on in the area of using 3D models and Technical Data Packages as a single source model throughout the lifecycle of a product.

Our stakeholders and partners have teamed together to provide a comprehensive resource to help educate and guide manufacturers about Model Based Enterprise. Our goal is to help manufacturers become more educated about MBE and to demonstrate how it can impact their manufacturing culture and how MBE is fast becoming the future of the DOD supply chain.

Army ManTech

Catalyst Connection

Catalyst Connection is the MEP center of western Pennsylvania and has been serving regional manufacturers for 22 years. With offices in Pittsburgh and Johnstown, Catalyst Connection delivers impact driven consulting services such as process improvement (lean), quality standards, business growth services (marketing, e-business and new product development) and workforce development. In collaboration with the Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center Network, Catalyst Connection developed a supplier scouting and development process for several US Army agencies that leverages our wealth of working knowledge and relationships with PA manufacturers.

In partnership with MANTEC (the MEP center located in York, PA) and MEP headquarters, Catalyst Connection contributes to the MBE initiative by providing internet technology, outreach to SMEs and support for the development of MBE certification standards.

MANTEC

MANTEC is the MEP center of South Central Pennsylvania, headquartered in York. MANTEC is a private non-profit dedicated to meeting the needs of small and mid-sized manufacturing enterprises to continuously and strategically strengthen their businesses. Since 1988, MANTEC has served the manufacturing community as one of seven Industrial Resource Centers (IRCs) across Pennsylvania. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through the Department of Community and Economic Development, supports MANTEC, its 2,800 manufacturers and the Industrial Resource Centers.
